Meet Kari
Kari McCoy never considered any other career except real estate. After all, it is the family business. Kari's father has been a real estate broker for over 40 years and like Kari, works for Coldwell Banker. Kari's mother has her own real estate company in Rocklin; her sister, Lynn, and her husband are real estate agents at the El Dorado Hills Lyon Real Estate office.
Even after 22 years in the business, Kari is still passionate about her work. She believes her success has come to her because she always keeps her clients' best interests in mind.
"Most of my business has come from past client referrals," Kari says." I believe my success is due to the fact that I do business the old fashioned way -- always putting my clients' best interest first and making it an enjoyable, ethical experience. Most of my business is based on past client referral, which is the highest form of compliment one could receive. It says that not only would my past clients use my services again, but also they were so confident in my services that they go out of their way to refer me to their family and friends.
Kari came to El Dorado Hills from the Bay Area in 1999. She and daughter Morgan (then 2 years old) moved to be near all of Kari's family and to give Morgan a better quality of life. Kari, who has always been with Coldwell Banker, immediately transferred her license to Coldwell Banker in El Dorado Hills and promptly began to work.
Kari received her real estate license 22 years ago in the San Francisco Bay/Peninsula Area and worked hard to become a top producer for Coldwell Banker. During that time, Kari was awarded:

Today Kari concentrates on life with Morgan and her successful real estate career that she loves. They live in Serrano where they are members of the Serrano Country Club and both are able to golf as much as possible. They are active members of Rolling Hills Christian Church where Morgan is a member of the choir. This is Morgan's fifth year of attendance at Golden Hills School. Morgan attends dance classes at the El Dorado Hills Dance Academy. They have both enjoyed cooking classes at El Dorado Hills CSD. They love to hike and bike among the rolling hills and trails of the area. They both love to frequent the many new restaurants and shops in the El Dorado Hills vicinity.
Kari and Morgan are enthusiastic about the family they have been sponsoring for the last four years in the bay area. They enjoy gathering clothing, food, toys and other necessities that enable this family to have a better quality of living. Morgan enjoys coloring and decorating the outside of the boxes with stickers before they mail them off to the family. Morgan loves receiving the big thank you notes. Morgan says, "It makes my heart feel full". Both Kari and Morgan started participating in gathering donations for UNICEF Charity in 2004.
"It's been exciting to watch El Dorado Hills grow so much. I'm grateful to be able to live in such a wonderful community where the people are so genuine and friendly. I believe that there could not be a better place to raise a child. It's almost like a past era lifestyle and we are very fortunate to be part of it."
